pH Probe Issues

Selecting a pH Probe mainly depends on selecting the right pH probe for the application in which it is to be used in, in the first place.

The following are considerations to made:

Water quality - Single or Double Junction Probe required
In tank or in pipeline installation - smooth body or threaded
Process connection size - 1/2" or 3/4"
Cable length and termination - stripped wired or BNC
Pluggable or moulded cables
Temperature fluctuations - is PT100 or similar temp sensor incorporated
High temperature - Special versions required
Hydroflouric Acid Attack - Special glass required
